Sakon Appoints New VP of Engineering Amid Rapid Company Growth and Product Innovation
Concord, MA – March 20, 2018 – Sakon, a SaaS and Services leader that helps enterprises organize, understand, and intelligently manage their communications ecosystems, today announced the appointment of Vinayak Ghaisas as VP of Engineering. Vinayak will advance Sakon’s technology innovation as the company enters a phase of rapid product expansion.
This announcement follows the successful January 2018 launch of the Sakon platform, which helps the C-suite and Procurement and Network Service leaders precisely map their entire global network and its costs, manage IT more cost-effectively, and prove the ROI of critical new network investments – all through a single platform.
Vinayak Ghaisas joins Sakon as the Vice President of Engineering and is responsible for leading the engineering teams as they build out the Sakon platform and its product portfolio, creating a world-class, agile-engineering organization focusing on providing outstanding customer value with high quality products.
Vinayak is a versatile technology professional with 20+ years of industry experience delivering value to customers. He has held product-engineering and consulting roles at companies, including i2 and TIBCO, where he built multi-tenant hosted platforms. Later he founded, managed and sold his own information and infrastructure management company, where he helped customers build enterprise-class software and services.
Vinayak earned a Bachelors in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Pune in India and a Masters in Computer Engineering from QUT, Australia. He has wide and deep experience in Information Management and Data Integration, Product Engineering, Technology Pre-Sales, and Operations, and holds patents in Collaborative Supply Chain Planning Software Solutions.
