At Sakon, we're helping businesses turn e-waste into positive environmental impact and
make a difference in the lives of kids and families in need in the process.
We've partnered with Kids Connect, the only youth-led nonprofit dedicated to reducing tech waste and connecting kids to digital opportunities through used smartphones. Together with Kids Connect, we collect your retired devices and reuse, recycle, and donate them to kids whose families can't afford them.
By donating your old devices, you're doing more than saving the planet and meeting ESG goals. You're giving digital access, learning resources, and accessibility tools to kids in need.
How it works?
Security Data Wiping
We provide guidance and support as needed to securely wipe your devices and meet your organization's data security standards.
Free Shipping or Pickup
We'll provide pre paid shipping labels or arrange pickups of your devices with no costs or logistical planning required on your end.
Refurbish or Recycle
If a device works, we ll refurbish it and get it to a kid in need. If not, we ll recycle it safely and sustainably.

How Corporate Devices Changed Education for Visually Impaired Students in India.
In rural India, visually impaired students are left out of traditional education and resources.
In partnership with Kids Connect and Light of Letters, we're transforming used corporate smartphones into accessible learning tools for visually impaired students.
When businesses donate devices, we wipe and reprogram them to feature talk-to-text, screen readers, interactive audio learning, and large text, as well as apps with access to audiobooks. Phones in drawers have created education and independence opportunities that foster full community.
