January 30, 2002 - Titan Wireless has completed the installation of broadband wireless access networks in Bangladesh, Cameroon and Ghana, using equipment from Alvarion Ltd. that operates in the 3.5 GHz and 10.5 GHz frequency bands.

Sakon LLC, a subsidiary of Titan, has begun providing high-speed data and value-added services in the regions, according to an announcement from Alvarion.

Titan Wireless, part of Titan Corp., is rolling out broadband services in many developing regions throughout the world, primarily in Africa, Central Asia and Latin America.
